The décor is inner-city chic, not suburban kitsch, and there’s a good selection of pastries, and cakes to complement the Resolute espresso from Origin Coffee Roasters. Eighteen teas, three hot chocolates, award-winning food and free wifi make this a pilgrimage-worthy café. Special touch: fold-away frontage for the summer months creates a bright and cheerful atmosphere.

A bright, contemporary feel and, best of all, the coffee is from Origin Coffee Roasters. V60 filters are available. The cafe is also known for its hot chocolates and teas. The Press Room is located very close to the train station and is the ideal spot if you’re in Twickenham for the rugby, but also is popular with local mums and business types. A variety of sandwiches are made on-site in the morning and are served alongside pastries and cakes from Galeta, Sweet Butterfly and All Square Cakes. The aforementioned hot chocolate is from Marimba in flaked form and is available in dark, milk or white varieties.
